What is the difference between TangoExperience and other tours?
TangoExperience is limited to a maximum of 20 people maximum per class. This tour is not for everyone; it is for people who are really interested in having fun, and trying to improve their dance skills

Is it possible to take private lessons?
Yes, absolutely. Not only the teachers hired for the tour are available for private lessons, but also the Dance Hosts are available to teach privatesl

What is the benefit of hiring a Dance Host?
On the Tour we separate the Lessons from the Milongas. Tango Experience works with couples during the lessons, and student/dancer MUST HAVE A PARTNER for every lesson. This partner may already be part of the tour but if each person does not have a partner, a Dance Host will be hired. At the Milongas it is different. For a man without a partner, it is a little bit easier to go to the Milongas because the rules are that the man is the one who invites the woman to dance. For a woman may be a bit more difficult, because there are times nobody may ask them to dance because, at the Milongas in Buenos Aires, the men have to see you dance first, before they will ask you to dance. Therefore, a dance host for the lessons is a MUST (IF YOU ARE TRAVELLING SINGLE), for the Milongas, a dance host is more important for a female.

How much does a Dance Host Cost?
But a good dance host costs between US$250 and U$S350 for the 20 hours of Lessons during the whole Tour and 2 hours per Night at the Milongas. The Student also has to pay for the Dance Host's entrance to the Milongas and one Drink. It is normal after the Tour to give a TIP to your Dance Host, if you were satisfied with his/her job.

Is Buenos Aires a secure City?
Buenos Aires is like every other large city in the world. All the places we are going are very secure. Also you are traveling with me, and I have lived there for 30 years. (Trust me I know Buenos Aires)

Transportation?
Tango Experience provides transportation for the people who are at the same time, in this case on the morning of November 30th. A van will be waiting at the Airport.

We also provide transportation back from the milongas at night. There is always a van between 1.30 and 2.00 am to take the Student/Dancers back to the hotel. If someone chooses to stay longer, he/she will have to take a taxi back to the Hotel (that expense is not covered by TangoExperience)

TangoExperience only provides the transportation back to the hotel after the Milongas because it is very difficult for everyone to agree on where to have dinner and people sometimes want to have dinner at different places which makes it very hard to coordinate transportation. If everyone agrees to have dinner at the same restaurant a van to take them to the Milonga, Tango Experience, will provide one at an extra cost.

How warm and cold is Buenos Aires?
The seasons in Buenos Aires are opposite those in Europe & the US. In the Fall and Winter of Buenos Aires it can be very Cold 32 or 36 Fahr. In the summer it is very nice with temperatures of 68 - 77 Fahr.

The Studio and Van has both Air Conditioning and Heat.

The Milongas have Heat and some of are Air Conditioned.
